March Newsletter

Throughout February, there was lots of activity at Outside Edge, with two Theatre Clubs, a Masterclass, a Peer Volunteer Training day, and our first Social Event of the year! We were also very pleased that our activities were highlighted in an NHS England Toolkit for Creative Health. Though last month was undoubtably busy, in March, Outside Edge offers service users even more to get involved with, as we continue to offer opportunities for creativity, community and connection.

It was such a pleasure to see to service users at our annual Anti-Valentine’s Day Social Event, especially for the newer members of the Outside Edge staff team. With performances ranging from stand-up to Shakespearian monologues, we enjoyed a wide variety of performances through our Open Mic call out – a big thank you to everyone that performed and attended; we hope to see you all again very soon!

We’ll also be celebrating Social Prescribing Day on Thursday 14th March and look forward to continued and future partnerships Social Prescribers to connect OETC with people who would benefit from our activities. With another Masterclass, a sharing from our Edge Two group, and so much more ahead of us in March, have a read through the below for all things Outside Edge, as we move into Spring.
