If you are affected by any form of addiction, including being a family member, carer or champions, and would like to participate in Outside Edge’s free drama workshops please register your interest below.
Anyone who enjoys (or thinks they might enjoy) drama and creativity is welcome, but we require abstinence on the day of the activity.
A friendly reminder that new participants must join a drop-in group (Drop-in Drama, Write Now, Women’s Drama Group) before they progress to activities requiring more sustained commitment. After attending at least one drop-in session, new participants can also access our Pastoral Care Support and Social Activities, such as free tickets to shows through OETC’s Theatre Club and Service User Social Events.
To register your interest you can either call the office (020 7371 8020) or enter your contact details below and a member of our team will contact you for a friendly 15 minute chat to help you complete an Induction Form over the phone.
If you would like the below form in an alternative format, please contact the office for support. Please let us know if you have any access requirements so that we can support you during Outside Edge’s easy enrolment process.

Covid-19 Update
Some of our activities are now operating with a blended delivery service so you are able to attend in person OR online. For more details about blended delivery and which groups are available to attend in person please see our blended delivery page. Even though most participants will join in person or through video, as long as you have access to a phone (yes, even a landline!) you will be able to participate in these blended activities.
During your induction call we will go through the steps required to join in the activities using a smart phone, tablet, laptop, desktop or an old fashioned telephone. But in the meantime, here are some FAQs:
How do I join via video?
To join via video (we highly recommend!) you will need to download Zoom (a free video conferencing app) directly to your smart phone or computer. We will send you some simple instructions on how to do this and, if you require a bit of technical support, we are available to assist you over the phone. Please do this ahead of the workshop date so we can help you with any problems before the session and you can be ready to get creative and focus on the activity.
This app works via an internet connection. If you do not have a broadband connection and are using cellular data on your phone, then please be aware that it will use your plan’s data to run. The cost of this is as per your contract with your Mobile Network provider (e.g EE, O2).
On the day of the workshop
1) Open the app and select ‘Join a Meeting’
2) Enter meeting ID (this will be sent out in a text to new participants) and to input your name.
You can then use this app every week!
I don’t have a smart phone or a laptop, can I still participate online?
Yes!
If your phone does not have a camera, or you are unable to download the app, you can still join us by calling into the group. You’ll be able to hear everything over your phone and speak to other participants and the facilitators. We will send you a text before the workshop with a list of local 012, 016 or 020 phone numbers that you can call in order to be connected. We will also send you the meeting ID to enter when promted.
Calls will be charged at your network’s rates. Please be sure to contact your provider if you are unsure of the costs that will be incurred to participate.
