Following the most recent guidelines issued by the government, we have made the difficult decision to suspend all of our weekly drama groups with immediate effect until further notice. We feel at this time, and in line with government advice around social distancing, that the health of our participants and staff needs to be our priority.

Outside Edge Theatre Company is the UK’s only theatre company and participatory arts charity focused on substance misuse and addiction.
Founded in 1999 by Phil Fox, who was an actor and recovering heroin addict, the work of the company builds from Phil’s own experience of theatre leading from addiction to recovery. The company continues to work from the premise that engaging in performance and exploring issues through drama has the ability to bring about positive change in the lives of people affected by addiction. We support people affected by substance misuse to reach and recognise their potential, find an identity and build skills and confidence in order to support recovery at all stages.
“Outside Edge produces artistically excellent work that challenges and entertains audiences at the same time as making a real difference. Edge’s work with addicts – and the ways in which their performances awaken audiences and provoke debate – is quite simply stunning.” —Jimmy Page, OETC Patron
