‘It’s spring time and John, JT to his friends, and his wife Ruth are in the final stages of a separation due to John’s long term unemployment and the relentless grind of poverty that it has brought. But John thinks he can save his marriage through a mad bet on a horse racing accumulator whereby if it comes through, he could be the beneficiary of an enormous fortune. Then a terrible event at a local addiction treatment centre creates a meeting that begins the process whereby John begins to faces up to himself and where he starts to understand that despite his losses maybe he has more riches in his life than money can ever bring’
The action of the presentation takes place one spring afternoon on a river bank somewhere in England. It will last for approximately 30mins.
