Book Now for ‘Never Be Lonely’

During the first lockdown, a group in West London came together to form the Anti-Loneliness Club. Their mission was to do whatever was required to ward off mid-pandemic loneliness.The Club is now throwing open its doors (virtually of course!) all in the name of fun to present their first variety show, Never Be LonelyExpect singing, dancing, spoken word, sass and a lot of bad jokes. Directed by Hannah Hauer-King, this performance will be streamed live online on Tuesday 30th March at 7pm. Meet the director…

Introducing…Hannah Hauer-King. Hannah has been working with The Company over the last few months to devise and direct their  exciting new piece of work and very first live stream event. This is Hannah’s debut show with The Company but some of you may recognise her as one of our weekly Write Now facilitators.Hannah is Artistic Director and co-founder of Damsel Productions. She started her London directing career acting as Resident AD at Soho Theatre in 2014. As well as being a freelance theatre director, Hannah also acts as a dramaturge, and comedy and cabaret programmer for Fane Productions. 

Most recent directing work includes: The Funeral Director (Southwark Playhouse & UK Tour 2019), Fabric (Soho Theatre), Grotty (Bunker Theatre), Fury (Soho Theatre), The Swell (Hightide Festival), Breathe (Bunker Theatre),  Revolt She Said Revolt Again (RCSSD), Clay (Pleasance Theatre),  Witt ‘n Camp (Edinburgh Fringe, Assembly) Dry Land (Jermyn Street Theatre). Associate/Assistant work: Romeo & Juliet (Shakespeare’s Globe), Radiant Vermin (Soho Theatre) and Daytona (Theatre Royal Haymarket).
